Hey, I have a problem with my blackberry. My WIFI Icon is solid white, which means it should be connected to BES/BIS, but my BBM nor instant messaging programs do not work. Any solutions?

Wifi is regular internet - BIS/BES is through your carrier.

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan from your phone service carrier? Without it, BBM and IM programs will not work even over WiFi.

No, i don't. I guess i was wrong. I always thought that a white solid WIFI logo meant i was connected to the BIS/BES Network.
