    hi guys,

I had a TMO9700 with 442 and everything was working fine. Today I upgraded to 545 and the WiFi stopped getting an IP address. It shows that I'm connected to the Wireless Router, but doesn't get an ip.. I checked my router and restarted it and it doesn't show any error, besides nothing changed on that since I had 442.
Basic WiFi Diagnostics shows no ip under Wi-Fi and the Status as "IP address no longer valid"

All Data Services options in my blackberry9700 are set to ON.
3G seems to work fine when Wi-Fi is off.

I would suggest wiping and re-installing the OS. Make sure to back up everything before doing so. Thanks.

A personal router has nothing to do with the service books. Delete the wifi connection and re-establish it. What security protocol are you using? Make sure you enter the correct code? Does the MAC show up in your router? I would then try rebooting the router. This happens to me when the cisco vpn hangs up all its resources...
