So I have a phone that is connected to wifi and rogers 3G at home and the main apps i use are facebook, windows live messenger and blackberry messenger.

The browser automatically switches to wifi when I am connected to a wifi network so that I don't have to pay for my data plan but is there any way that I can be sure that facebook, wlm and bbm use wifi instead of charging me for data use?

when i turn off my data thing they still work just on wifi but i want to make sure that it takes wifi in priority over the 3G.

i know the browser takes wifi in priority cause whenever I use the browser and when im connected to wifi, the logo switches from 3g only to wifi only at the top and I am not charged for data.

this isn't the case for facebook, bbm and wlm and in their options you cannot change priority, so which one are they connecting to?
