Why not call em Berry Shots?
Why not call them Berry Shots.... that's what I say. Who really cares about instagram or most of the popular apps that people squee about. I for one have never used them and am not sure what the fuss is all about.
If apps are so important to the populace why not make our own? This community and a lot of people backing BB10 should stop trying to make it a clone of the rest of the phones out there and make it unique... different... ours. Make a list of the things you wish a phone could do ... then a separate list of what the others can do .. and yet another of what BB10 can do . I'm sure after you cross things off you will see the great things you have in front of you .
If games are your thing ...come up with an idea and get a group together and make it... most programs are simple and effective.. think about it.. angry birds???? simple graphics and game play but people go nuts over it.
Why not make something just as addictive. But make it ours....
Some of the grandest ideas in the world of tech have come out of basements .... garages.....and bedrooms.
They made it their own... then stuck a sticker on it and called it apple.... Google.... Microsoft.... IBM....and so on .
Stop wishing... and make it.
Ideas..... Game that is similar to keeping a virtual pet alive.... every day you have to care for it and feed it... (Berry Babies? )
Game that instead of a side view like angry birds.... takes a launching game and makes it a game of depth.... launch things forward... and knock them down infront of you ...
Game of virtual metal detecting... it uses the back camera and buzzes when it sees money shaped objects... why not...good for a laugh?
Game of face detecting were the back camera sees people faces as aliens.... to show their true faces :) sort of like the sun glasses in the movie Them.
More learning programs.. like astronomy .... math tutors.... history tutors.. ( History Bug? catchy name)
Social status programs... like .. "Where were you last night" social network of places to be and go and have fun .. its great idea when your looking for something to do and have no idea were the cool clubs and places are around the area...
Nocturnal Run .. Social network for the underground scene of interesting weirdness
I'm sure with the high intelligence of the forum participants things can be made ....... and eventually que up for greatness ...
