Why does my phone require an ID which was used when setting it up which I don't have?

i cant download any app from the blackberry platform yet i have created an ID, however it shows that the blackberry protect anti-theft feature is on.please sign in with the blackberry ID that was used to set up this device, which i dont know gays help me out

Tap on BlackBerry id in setting. Is there any id?

If you purchased the device second-hand contact the seller and have him disassociate the device from his Bbid, and also remove the device from his BBprotect.

You will then need to wipe device and reenter your BBid.

If you purchased the device from a retail shop return it.

There is no way you can disable the Protect feature without the original BBID and password.

If you can't do the above unfortunately you will have a "brick" for a device.
