    My Blackberry has been freezing up almost 90% of the time during the past week! I turn it off and remove the battery, replace the battery, turn it back on and it doesn't correct the freezing. The freezing seems to correct itself randomly, but hardly ever lately. Very frustrating!

    Don't put in the freezer!

    But seriously, we needed more details. What device are you using? What OS are you on? How many apps do you have? How much memory do you have? Etc.

    My Blackberry Q10 SQN100-1 Smartphone has 45 apps and has used 7.9 GB of 16 GB. It just keeps freezing and I don't know why. And, no, I'm not putting it in the freezer

    You may need to perform a clean install.

    Do a security wipe, or better yet use the 10.3.2.2639 autoloader.

    Use Ultimate Backup from BBW to backup and restore your contacts, messages, and media. Avoid Link.

    Yeah well before clean install, probably remove some android apps off first that you don't need. Sometimes having too many makes my phone freeze. After uninstalling a few it doesn't do that as much. Some still use background processes and well makes things slow or just screw up the android runtime.
    I find that doing that and doing a hard reset, after you gave it enough time to delete all those apps, give it a day. Performance goes back up.

    Yes as above, back up, wipe, restore only contacts first, see if issue is resolved
