Till date I haven't seen any Commercials for the new BlackBerry 10 Devices which makes many people unaware of the new devices launched by BlackBerry like the Z10, Q10, Q5 and the recent Z30 unlike other mobile company's such as IPhone or the Samsung and even the Micromax?

I remember once hearing to an AD for Z10 in local radio station because of the price reduction.

Having manufactured such amazing and beautiful devices by BlackBerry, without proper advertising many people don't even come to know of its existence, what a pity

Doesn't India have bizarre rules concerning foreign enterprise? I believe BlackBerry themselves can't actually do the marketing. It has to be done by their retail partners like Vodaphone. I'm not sure how last years Vodaphone court case played out, but I believe they passed some crazy law that really messed up Vodaphone. Vodaphone might not be in a place right now to be actively spending a lot of money on marketing BlackBerry.

I understand your frustration, but you have to know also that Samsung Elec. is spending 12B in ad, what is the total asstes of BBRY, Apple spends 1B in ad. One more thing, BBRY is a small company. Apple and Samsung are 20 times bigger than BBRY. (222B each of them). So.....

I can't speak for India but there have been television ads for BlackBerry here in the US, the Northeast Corridor at least. The problem is they have been mostly poorly executed, made no sense in relation to the product being advertised, did very little to show off or talk about the device(s) functionality and have been entirely forgettable. Whatever the advertising budget is it is being spent in the worst possible way.

BB ads started again in Canada last weekend that I noticed. Short, to the point, showing 3 handsets Z10, Q10, and Z30 front and centre IIRC.

The initial wave of BB10 devices are fairly old now. The time for a advertising/media blitz is over. I have no idea what, if anything, BBRY has down the pipeline; but, it's best saving its funds for whenever the next generation of Blackberry hardware launches.

I don't think it's wise to overly advertise an Os that barley has a whole lot of functionality & features to it. The new leak has way more features now than the original 10.0...

Never saw an ad here in Italy, it couldn't be different if Blackberry was really out of business...
It'd be urgent to show what BB10 can do, how much efficient can blackberry devices be and more important: set up aa strategy based on aggressive prices!!!
(Blackberry Z30 at 599 euro / 800$ is ridiculously high! 400-450 euro top / 540-599$ would make it very appealing)

More advertising of course would be welcome. But the biggest obstacle is the people in the stores selling smartphones. Until these teen or early twenty sales reps can give bb10 a fair representation what hope is there?

To be frank, the best ad was the super bowl commercial. Everyone who saw it remembers it, even the ones who hated it, which was everyone on these forums.
