Doesn't stop them from posting it though, PK. They can also host it themselves.

I suspect there are some serious server issues and/or issues with the app itself.

Android is a virus. Can't make stuff to work seamlessly on a virus.
IOS is working fine. Goes to show that the hardware + software model still works seamlessly.

It's a question if whether they're trying to contact people in time zones where the app hasn't been posted yet. No one knows the real reason and we won't know for sure until after midnight PST.

Edit: Kris posted on Twitter that it might be because of the BBM Channels beta, supposedly cross-platform chat doesn't work with it installed.
