I had an original version Passport, working perfectly, but it had to be sold for various reasons.
Naturally I made a backup prior to wiping the device and removing the device from BlackBerry Protect.

Not long after I was able to pick up a new Classic (in blue)
I plug it into my Mac, it appears instantly in BB Link.
I try to restore the old Passport backup to the new device but it can't find any files in the backup folder.
If I navigate there via Finder, I can see my two backups but they are grayed out and I cannot select them as a target file for a device restore.

    Please help!

Are you signed in (both with Link and your Classic) with the same BBID?

It's possible that the OS version of the Passport was newer than the Classic OS. You can't restore a backup from a newer OS to an older one. I could actually have it reversed. All I know is I had the problem in the past
