    That question assumes he wants to lol. Doesn't look to be killing the hype to me.. if anything, it's BUILDING hype. More sites have written about BlackBerry in the past few days than pretty much in all of 2015. Stock sites don't count.

    Why would he stop leaks? Any positive / speculative press for BlackBerry devices is good for all of us. Most of us would love to have a pure bb10 phone, but the reality is that the market has moved on. A BlackBerry / Android hybrid may be the best thing for blackberry and the niche BlackBerry users. I never considered an Android phone before now, but if I can get hub, bb10 productivity and BlackBerry hardware with Android I may have to accept this as an evolutionary step.

    BlackBerry is actually trending on Facebook right now. The slider is getting a crap ton of free advertising by going viral, and that's a good thing. People are now waiting for this phone to be released so they can buy one. Not see it and laugh but actually BUY. It already has more interest than the Passport ever saw.

    If anything, he needs to just put it out there already, or at least give an official leak of any kind. It could only help them, not hurt. I agree with Bla1ze, there's already a lot of hype with no "official" word. I've noticed that most of the hype is good.

    I agree. Leaks are the Forbidden Fruit. That is BIGGER news when acquired then would be an official news release.

    I haven't seen any leaks so far and only 3D rendered Android versions of the slider. It is the silence of Chen that is the trouble as that opens up for the Android mob to pursue their own marketing that everybody must run US based operating systems. If Chen would just confirm or deny the Android rumors that would end the rumors once and for all. Also that he set a date for the press release.
