I just upgraded from 4.2 to 4.5 on my 8830, and the one thing i can't seem to get used to is the address book. i used to have my address book entries one 'per line' (hard to explain), but with this release, my address entries have a white space between them.

I have almost 600 address book entries, and sometimes i like typing, for instance, "chris", and seeing all the chris listings, but now it only fits maybe 5 in the screen, because of all the white space. how do i remove that?

You can't remove it. It's part of the way that the OS lists the addresses. It gives space for the Company name. You can't change it.

Use smaller fonts that will give you some more entries
