I have a Passport and a Galaxy S6 Edge. I'm fine with both these phones and will not be purchasing the Priv. I hope it sells well, but I was never a fan of the Slider style phone.

I am in this category now. I wish other people buy as much as possible to help BlackBerry succeed but I am not going to... not at that price anyway.

Rooting for the PRIV but keeping my Passport - the best phone for my needs. Maybe in a year, when I'm due for an upgrade and the PRIV has dropped in price, I will consider it. Or maybe I will keep using the Passport - the first phone I haven't had the urge to upgrade.

Rooting for BlackBerry and will be getting the Priv for my son, but will wait for the device to be out and reviewed. I am fine with my Classic for the moment.

I have zero interest in an Android phone, no matter how secure it supposedly is. I'm also suspending any future BB10 development until BlackBerry commits 100% to releasing BB10 phones. I've seen enough...

Rooting for the Priv and BB. The Priv simulator looks REALLY promising. I'm not in the market for a new phone at this time, though.

I hope the Private is wildly successful, and that it leads to other manufacturers improving the US and efficiency of their phones as well. I am still going to rock my Z10 for a while, and then I'll upgrade to the Passport SE. That should keep me going through 2016 or 2017. Then I will reevaluate my mobile needs.

A Blackberry is un-rootable, so it is impossible to root for BlackBerry :-)

Blackberry Z10 was the beginning. The Z30 is my upgrade

I hope it does well. But I would never buy it. No interest in Android. At all. I might have considered it if it ran bb10. But no interest at all in Android. But that is a double edged sword. If it does sell well we will never see another bb10 phone. Which is disappointing

I really want to see BlackBerry rebound like most here, but I don't need to upgrade from my passport at this time. We'll see what happens when I feel the need to move on though.

I will at some point but bought my AT&T Passport in April.

Having said that, I need flash support because too many news websites use flash. I also need periscope. I'll stick with BlackBerry cuz I love my Passport but something with everything I need is nice too.

Well, as I've done and will continue to do, I'll support BlackBerry. I'm not jumping nor doing cartwheels to purchase this device.....and I do want it. More importantly for me, I want to see just how supportive Android and BlackBerry are going to be for this device. Is it going to be more of the same or will Android really push this device the same as other new Androids. I'm just a longtime BlackBerry fanboy/consumer armed-chair quarterback. While I'm over it, I really wanted an update to the Z30 and in my opinion, no matter how sexy it looks, the Slider is not it.

Yeah. Well, like that's your opinion, man /SM-G928A 😎

I hope they do well with the Priv, but I'd grab a Passport with the almost-dead-no-matter-what-they-say OS before I'd bother with a locked down android system. Not being able to unlock the bootloader takes away the only reason I would buy an android phone.

I am going on two years with my Q10, but I do not see any reason to replace it for now.

I am not overly against Android, but BlackBerry 10 does everything I want right now. Plus, I have invested quite a bit of money on BlackBerry 10 apps, so I do not want to give that up, not to mention apps that are ONLY on BlackBerry 10.

Yes, I've stated in no uncertain terms that I'm pulling for BlackBerry to succeed. It has always represented an alternative to the consumer.
Although the Priv is being launched as a Full Featured Flagship Device, it's not for me. BB10 is and I have every intention to upgrade to the Passport SE. It has evolved and has been refined over time and is what I ask in a device.

So to answer the question :if allowed, I will continue to support BlackBerry, will they continue to support me?

I'm split on this; I've always rooted for RIM even though I couldn't take that hourglass anymore but Blackberry today is basically just an Android OEM with it's own top of the line MDM. *shrugs*

Since Blackberry sold it soul (lol) right as I was about to come back, I'm just hoping for a Passport SE fire sale.
