I'm thinking about switching back to my 9930 from my Z10, I hate the touch screen keyboard. Most of the time I don't even respond to texts or emails. Not to much of a fan of touch screens.

Years and years ago I had a blackberry that I gave up when I got a release day iPhone original. I noticed that my willingness to type out long messages decreased significantly. I've gotten better over time with a touch screen, but it never quite got to the level of comfort I had with that ancient blackberry.

The only issue I have with physical keyboards is refraining from typing out long posts & replies to everything that has a text input box.

I bought my Z10 with 100 percent intention to take a loss and buy a Q10 as soon as I could get one.

I traded my 9900 for a Z10, and was messing with it before it went in the mail, and I couldn't use it. I had a ton of trouble typing on it, entirely because of the swipe to type on my Z10. I found myself trying to swipe up on my friends Q10. I used to be a blowhard ***** about the physical buttons. Now I wouldn't trade the Z10 for a Q10 even up.

I'm obviously just one person, but that's my story.

I tried the Z10 on release day, but couldn't get the hang of it. Admittedly, I didn't spend a whole lot of time with it and my efforts were somewhat half-hearted, as deep down I knew the "Q" was the one for me. Two month in with the Q10, there was never any doubt I made the right call; nothing, in my mind, can match the feel of a physical keyboard and the Q10's keyboard is the best there is, bar none.

Along these same lines, I fell in love with the ThinkPad keyboard and track point when I purchased my first 770Z. Simply put, life without a ThinkPad or BlackBerry keyboard would be an unimaginable hell.

I have my Q10 and I wouldn't look back at my Z10. Granted the keyboard on the Z is amazing, I've always been a physical keyboard guy, it's why my iOS and Android devices never stayed with me for more than a month before being swapped with another to keep my interest intrigued.

I would say I was guilty of moving to an iPhone somewhere earlier....But, when I heard of a Q10 I was awaiting it's release real bad, couldn't wait to an extent that I ordered it online and ended up with a Q10 without warranty. That being said, I have never ever looked back since the day I unboxed it, and the best part is, I grin past people in a sly way when I am pounding away mails and bbm on my Q10 while they are struggling to type by stopping every now and then to "concentrate" while walking :P

Physical keyboards go through too much wear and get worse over time for me because I use my phone so much. My thumbs also get sore. Now that the Z10 has arrived I don't think I could go back to physical keyboards unless BlackBerry stopped doing virtual ones.

I'm not a touch screen fan myself. That is why I'm a Q10 user! I like being able to not focus so much on where my fingers land, yet still be certain of my typing accuracy.

Not me. Loved my physical keyboards on my previous phones, but the virtual one on my Z10 is the best of all.

I had always used physical keyboards before I got the Z10 and I really thought I would miss the keyboard and possibly jump to the Q.

Over 4 months later and not a chance. Love the keyboard on the Z10. Tried out the keyboard on the Q in a store and didn't like the feel of it. Suprised the heck out of me. Lol.

I used to be a hard core physical keyboard guy on my bold 9900. I took the leap and went with z10. Took me a while to get used to touchscreen but then I found myself typing so much faster on my z10 then on my bold 9900. I mean it was typing twice as fast on my z10 even though it was touchscreen. The auto correct is crazy and the swiping words for predictive text was insane as well. It was reading my mind half the time.

I tried recently to type on a q10 and I couldn't do it. I was so slow. One thing about physical keyboard is that your thumbs get really sore and your joints get sore as well. Not with touchscreen. Your thumbs and joints are never hurting. I can actually type out a long essay on my z10 no problem. So for me now that I got used to the awesome keyboard of the z10 I will never go back to physical keyboard of the bold or q10. I can type so much faster on the z10. Hands down. And this is coming from a guy who refused to go touchscreen but made the leap when the z10 came out. Will never look back. Touchscreen is it for me now, but only the z10's keyboard not The iPhone or SGS4. Can't type on those damn things. The virtual keyboards suck balls on those things. BlackBerry nailed it right with the Z10 keyboard. I suggest you try out both for a while and see what your preference is. Good luck.

I actually have the Q10 as my business phone and use the Z10 as mu personal phone, don't really feel like dishing out 600 for a Q when I have one already just for business.

I can't stand a virtual keyboard. Yes, I can make it work but it is so awkward, IMO. The Q10 keyboard is the best I've ever used and I've had many BB's over the years. Vkb's make me cuss. ALOT.
