I recently added my friend's screen name onto my AIM buddylist. I got his screen name from his facebook page. Later, when I signed onto AIM on my Bold 9700, I was surprised to see that he wasn't listed as his screen name, rather, his actual name appeared instead. Where did the connection come from? I do have the FB app on my phone and I'm wondering if it has something to do w/ it?

And do you have him as a Contact in your BlackBerry Address Book as well?
Chances are the Contact got Linked.
