Let me take you back to 2008, it was fall and rainy here in Canada it was my first year of university. My flip phone had crapped out on my and It was time for a upgrade.

I went to the local Rogers store and there it was sitting all locked up on a pedestal, the bold 9000.

At first I wasn't sure regular people could get those phones, it seemed so elite and business like. But I went up and played with it, it was sitting next to an iPhone 3g. I left the store that day with my trusty bold 9000.

Ever since then I have liked the bold 9000/9900 style phones. I have a Z10 now which I admire.

    How about you?

When they released that they bought qnx.
I had been following qnx before that.
I thought that things could get very interesting with qnx as a base for mobile.
BlackBerry has actually been my last devices.
Flip phone, galaxy s captivate, galaxy 2, iPhone, bold 9900, z10.
Still have a iPhone for work apps (sharepoint) but loving the z10.

Mine started when my Nokia flip phone died. I needed a phone that would sync with my iCal. This was before the iPhone. I discovered the Curve 8320 and it has been an addiction ever since.

    Curve 8320, Bold 9780, Bold 9900, PB 64gb, Z10

Mine started when I first got the 9630, then the 9810 (I loved the sliding part of the phone) and then now I'm addicted to my Z10. My next BlackBerry would be the successor of the Z10.

Back in 2003, with a thumb wheel. 2005 was awesome when I got the back light key so I could see the screen.

Mine started with the BlackBerry Pearl 81xx(which at the time was my mom's; I still had a flip phone (Nokia 6131) with the predictive texting SureType keyboard. In a way I believe the BlackBerry Z10 to be the Pearl of the BB10 generation.

BlackBerry Pearl 81xx, BlackBerry Pearl Flip 82xx, Curve 8320, Bold 8780, BlackBerry Z10 and BlackBerry Z10 successor.

The black berry curve 83xx was my first smartphone. Kept me neat and organized for years. I could never fully adapt to android or iPhone

It was early 2008 and I was using a Motorola RAZR 2 at the time along with a Windows Mobile Dell Axim X51V PDA. I was kind of tired of carrying around 2 devices and wanted an always on data connection, so I started looking at smartphones. I think the 3 choices on my carrier at the time were the 8130, 8330, and 8830. I didn't want a "huge" phone then, so settled on the 8130. And it went from there...

Mine was the 7200 back in 2005. Company issued for emails. Kept getting upgrades to the latest and greatest. Now I have a 9900 from company and Z10 for personal. Played with iPhone 4S for about 6 months before the Z10.

Back in 2001 I purchased a little product (as seen in my avatar) blackberry 957, simply a data device at that time, but I loved the unit. In August of 2003 people may recalled that a third of North America was without power. Although most of the eastern seaboard couldn't communicate (phones were down, Internet was down) I was still able to communicate with my wife, Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin via PIN. We were able to keep our family based Real Estate Firm afloat because of our blackberry's. that is basically when my loyalty began.

The first time I played with a Blackberry was in late 07, early 08 my freshman year of high school. My mom had the Pearl on Sprint. I thought it was so cool because it had Y! Messenger lol. Always played with it. Can't remember if it was 09 or early 2010 when I got my first Blackberry. But then I went on to a HTC Hero. Then a Bold 9650. Then an Evo. Then a iPhone 4S. Then a Bold 9930. Then an iPhone 5. Left Sprint, got a HTC One, a week later got the iPhone 5 again (on T-MO) but now I'm thinking of going to a 9900.
I played with the Q10 in the store. For some crazy reason, I still prefer the old OS. Maybe BB10 will have to grow on me? Idk.
Blackberry has always been my fav.
