Ok. Whenever I install a new theme to my Blackberry 8320 Curve, I notice that the UMA signal indicator is missing. Is there a way to add that feature to the custom theme? The themes were purchased from Handango.

I doubt it. But, let me ask this, you are in an area where the wireless is on, and you're connected to it, right?

If you switch back to a 'basic' theme, does the UMA show up?

After switching to the new theme, try a battery pull and see what happens...

Yea, I am connected. It does show the UMA indicator when using the default themes the phone comes with. What do you mean by a battery pull? You mean just take out the battery and reinsert it?

Hmm, maybe it's just the way the person created the theme. Maybe look for themes that are specific to the 8320, those should have the said icon...

Better still, look for the thread that UNLOCKS ALL themes! Here you go:

I know the Crackberry Holiday theme has that same problem. Love the theme but am itching a little to return to normal.

    Too naviwilliams-

Correct me if I am wrong, but it the WiFi symbol is SOLID then you are on UMA and do not need to see the UMA signal on the theme. If the WiFi is transparent, then you are not on UMA.

Let me know as I would like to use a theme that does not switch to UMA.

Good point 314aaron! Albeit I still think you need to see the UMA. The reason being, from time to time it can be in lower case, meaning not 'full' service, like when you see edge vs EDGE...

It also serves as a signal strength indicator, going from (^) to (((^))). When reading (^), call quality is lousy.

I am having the same problem finding a custom theme which displays it, even at this late date.
