WhatsApp for BlackBerry

I do remember getting a message some time back that said Whatsapp would discontinue support for BlackBerry devices.

I do have a need for this app now and was wondering if there was a workaround that would allow me to use Whatsapp on a BlackBerry Leap?

I did see that, but when I try and post within a WhatsApp group, I get the message "You can't send messages to this chat because WhatsApp no longer supports this phone".

I am running BlackBerry 10 OS release 10.3.3.1463. I did check and there are no software updates available either.

Are you checking for updates on BlackBerry World as well?

Thank you, I did get it working.

I wish I had checked in BlackBerry World if there were updates but what I did was uninstall WhatsApp and then reinstalled it.
