I got in on the 6gb promo, but I very rarely even approach 500mb.

I'd drop down to the 500mb plan, but I can't get all of my promo features which re actually critical

Oh yeah, when I had my Android Thunderbolt I used 6-8GB every month. BlackBerry compression is helpful for those on limited plans.

I don't see any real reason to use a ton of data. I don't stream music or videos at all and any music or videos that I do listen to is stored on my memory card. On a rare occasion, I will watch one youtube video, but that's what, 3-5 megabytes tops?

In terms of my PB, I keep it bridged, but I also have wifi enabled on it. From what I understand, if you have your PB bridged and on wifi, it will use wifi for the connection to the internet and not the bridge. Therefore, it never uses any of my BB data.

I guess you could say I'm just a relatively light user.

Exactly! this is why I have Verizon's lowest data plan, 500mb/month.

I am connected to wifi about 70% of the day. I also set all my apps to use wifi if available. I email, text, tweet, bbm, lightly stream Pandora, and browse the web all day.

I use about 100mb per month

Also, having wifi on all day gives me GREAT battery life. After 12 hours of use my phone was only at 40%

I have VZW too. I didn't realize they offered 500 mb plan for BBs. Last time I called customer service I was told 2GB was the minimum. I may have to make another phone call.

Yes, you should check it out. 2gb was the minimum too until I randomly checked online one day and the 500mb plan was there.

I think they're slowly rolling it out nationwide.

I have 4 Blackberries on 2 Gig shared data (family plan), and have never gone over 1 Gig.
Now I am the biggest data user out of the four, but all the phones do access the WiFi when at home.
I have quite a few co-workers that have to have 6 Gig plans on their Apple, or Android phones so they don't go over.

All that streaming each day and only 6GB a month? I think some other posters were right, there's no way he can only be streaming 2 hours a day and getting the top 5% user message from ATT.

I don't remember what my max is but I'm currently sitting at 3,019,371 kb of Sprint Data. Sprints caps out at about 5 gigs.

I almost never use wifi, and data usage per month was 250-350mb.

Since I joined 3 BBM groups, Telicost told me I used 10% of my 500mb limit in the first 3 days!

Now I'm on wifi at home while plugged in... because wifi+radio drains my battery so fast.

For some reason no matter what I do, even listing to Internet radio, I never go over 500 MB. I always hit about 150 to 250 MB at max. This is because I have the laptop when I am at home and school.

I am doing my best to get close to 500 MB now days including turning on Internet radio just for fun.

I never hit 1GB in a month and I'm a heavy user. Its all phone, email, web and sms though. Very little video and music streaming. I keep my unlimited plan on vzw out of habit and fear of losing it then getting a bb10 lte phone someday and needing it.

I am currently at 3.1GB. I still have 7 days left for this month. Luckily I am grandfathered on the unlimited data. Compare that to when I had a HTC Rezound on Verizon's 4g LTE. The most I ever used was 40gigs.

I think the most I've ever used was just under 10 meg's. Don't stream music or video, have dedicated gps for nav. Sent a bunch of pics from the Amazon hence the whopping 10 meg usage.

How do you go 4.5gb/month with 9930, a 3G device? Do you tether?
Tell us a bit more about your usage, I am really interested. I barely hit 500MB a month and I am a heavy work-related e-mail person..
