i have had all the top US carriers, ATT (before it was cingular), Cingular, ATT again (after it was cingular), Verizon, Sprint, and Tmo. I must say i am most impressed with ATT in terms of service, but customer service wise its easily Tmo

I have Sprint and tons of problems but they do have some good points. I really wanted to see what people said about their carrier.

    Thanks for all the replies.

I love BB customer service not because they are nice, but because they know what they are talking about...

I have dealt with Sprint, Verizon, Att/Cingular/Att, and Tmobile.

I personally switched from Verizon to Tmobile because of the UMA feature Tmobile offers. I always had problems with calls inside buildings before, now I have crystal clear free calls thanks to UMA.

ATT is good for wide coverage, but in congested markets they still need to build out capacity, too many calls failed for my taste in some areas.

Sprint coverage is awesome in south Florida, and the Executive management team is a pleasure. (unsure about non-south FL areas)

Verizon is ok, but more expensive then other carriers, but ATT has about the same coverage and cheaper plans, so I would pick ATT over them

Tmobile is good if you live in a city with good coverage. I look forward to the 10 billion they plan to spend in 08 on new cell towers, to improve outlying areas, and start the 3g setup. The prices are awesome, and they have UMA (hotspot@home) which will be expanding to offer even better service here soon, so they are my top pick.

I wish I had a choice of re-doing my term with a US Carrier just so I can get cheap data plans From my occasional browse of international carriers I thought T-Mo looked like one of the better ones
