you can send up to 6Mb via BBM. other than that its email or maybe better top sort a dropbox shared folder for ya both if its alot
BBM is limited with file size, you can use it for small files or just use your Email.
due to truncated messages if the email is over a certain size, its not really a major advantage to use email over BBM, i think its 8Mb max for email (or at least it was on BIS3.x not sure on BIS 4.x).
as for bluetooth, yea thats ideal, depends on where the other person is i guess
