My first blackberry was the Storm 2, well my first 3 blackberries were Storm 2's but that was in the space of a week.

My first proper blackberry that I kept and love is the Bold 9700!

Pinkberry Curve 8330 which I still have... but I upgraded to the 9650 when it came out and my NE2 came around. My old workhorse Curve still works and will again if I ever need a back up! Gotta love that phone!

Tour when it came out, and then replaced by my current Bold 9650.

So, in reality, my first Berry was in fact the Bold....I don't count the Tour.

8310 for me. What a mind blowing experience that was over the craptastic RAZR I was using before.

Pearl 8110 from 2.5 years ago. Still runs like a champ to this day, and I will still hang on to it even after I get the new Pearl 9100 in a few weeks.

Tour 9630..which I sold to get the cash to buy myself the Bold 9650.

Despite no wi-fi and a rather short life cycle, it was great and I learned all about Blackberry with the Tour.

My razor had broke and I needed a phone and a friend gave me his old one it was a color screen, but you had to scroll on the side and I didn't like how the keyboard was so I eventually switched phones and had a bad impression of BB's for awhile.

My first was a pearl 8120. I got it right after the pearl flip was released on T-Mobile. Then I switched to my wifes old 8320 curv when she got her 8900. And as of today, I am back to the 8320 after spending the last year on android. Waiting for the 9780 Bold, that will be my next BB.

My first was a 7130 that I got last year on ebay for 20 dollars. Didn't take long to get hooked and want more. Wasn't long before I jumped up to a Pearl then to my 8530 Curve last month.

Got one when I first opened a Verizon account two years ago with the 8330, then about 6 months ago went to a 9630, and now looking into another one (though still undecided between waiting for an LTE BB, or going 9650).

Started off this whole wild ride with the Storm 1 - you know the one: laggy, buggy.... God I loved that phone - frequently called upon to defend its honour too mind you.
Now sporting the 9100 and haven't looked back!

8520 for a week, then got a 9700. Better keyboard, saw my friend's 9000 and like that keyboard even more, though not making the switch. I think the design is good on the 9700 with the space given, I think they can have a cleverer design with the same space available, and still make it seem bigger and easier to use.

Love the BBs, seriously not impressed with the shortcomings of the OSs though, my old dumb phones had features which are not available on BB's, only through apps, or even more frustrating sometimes completely non-existant (e.g. call recorder)
