First off would you be mad if your wife bought you a 16GB Playbook for $399 on ebay after you told you her you won a 32GB w/ an Otterbox Case, silicone case and zip case for $430? Would you go ahead and pay for the one you won, and sell the 16GB. Or would you just let it go and keep the 16GB. I know this is a no brainer but, I just wanted to know what someone else would do in my situation. BTW, she doesn't want a Playbook, so keeping both isn't an option.

    Not mad. Annoyed.

Scratch off the 32 gb part and secretly sell the 16 gig playbook.
Tell her you kept the 16 gig.

    Now everyones happy.

This idea is sneaky, and underhanded. I believe it is exactly what I would do!

BTW if it's in an Otterbox case there is no need to scratch off anyrthing.

Funny, I wouldn't want to deface it though. We try to keep an honest relationship ya know. Thanks for the laugh and suggestion though.

Speaking up for your wife, she was trying to buy you something nice...
some wives would never buy hubby a playbook! I'm still thinking it over. (if I buy one for my hubby, I'll be a NetFlix widow.)

I would have said nothing, be thankful for her buying the PB for you, then use the 32GB one as if she gave it to you. With the Otterbox on it, it won't matter the GB label. Then just sell the 16GB. It's the fact that she got you a PB that matters.

Since it's the tough that counts, I thought about buying you all a PB.

If you had to pay for it, how did you win it?

If you didn't have to pay for the 32GB one, then keep both. Be happy.

I would sell the one you won on ebay and then tell her "I'd rather have the one you bought me. Its more important to me" and then reap the benefits of being a romantic stud to your thoughtful wife.

Oh she doesn't have a problem with buying things for me. My thing is, if i tell you about a great deal shouldn't you go with it, regardless of trying to surprise me, because I was gonna buy it anyway. Its not really a surprise when I already know.

Hmmm, it sounds like you are a hard guy to buy for - maybe you should suggest to your wife that she buy you gift cards
