    Best in order
    1. 8330m Curve-Sprint
    2. 9650 bold-Sprint
    3. Motorola Razr-Sprint

    Worst
    1. Palm Treo 700wx-Sprint
    2. Sanyo mm-8300-Sprint
    3 Nokia-can't remember model- AT&T

8330 and 9650 would probably tie.

I had an 8330 on VZW and the call quality was just fine, despite the other shortcomings of the device.

Can you believe I actually had 2 of them!!
what I must say though I still have never found a device that was as good as this one for excel work!! the Thera with my 2GB SD card that cost a fortune! and a fold out keyboard was awesome! probably could be called my first netbook, I still have both devices in my basement office, and constantly toy with the idea of booting one up again for work use....

You are absolutely right. I did the fold out keyboard to and would fly through
spreadsheets like no ones business. I actually used it a couple of times to take
minutes at Town Council meetings when the Recording Clerk was ill. My boss was
    truly amazed by that.

I still have both the Thera and the 1032 upstairs on my desk. Terrible phone,
    excellent PDA.

LOL! the 1032!! wow, I never did get that one ( I'm not old enough hehehe)

I went from the Audiovox to the UTStarcom 6700, that was a fun phone, but man it was a Brick over an 1" thick, not as good as the Thera for spreadsheets which was weird.

Oh!, you got old guy jokes now

After the Thera I went with a bunch of regular phones. The E62 was my very first
smartphone and everything it did, it did BADLY. Luckily the rep at AT&T put me
on a Pearl 8100 (still my favorite BB) and the rest is history. That was 3 years ago.

The Thera was my first Smartphone, then came the UTStarcom, than I believe the HTC 5800 than HTC Touch + 8330, after having the 8330 which I still use today, I couldn't go back to WinMo, to think there was a time I didn't want to even try a BB..
I didn't even realize a Smartphone could actually be a good PHONE until the 8330, even compared to my 9630 call quality is tops on the 8330.

    in use by a friend.

Worst: Not sure, probably my Diamond honestly (crappy speakerphone).

I must say there were several phones that were nice. The Diamond was just the right form factor. I like the Tour but I feel a little limited by the web browser and I hate how thick the phone is but I have a condom so that's part of it, but man I love the keyboard.

In general I found the Motorolas and 8/9xxx series Blackberries I've used have had pretty good call quality.

The older LGs, Audiovoxs, and Samsungs were pretty poor when it came to call quality. I haven't used anything from those manufacturers recently, so I don't know if they've improved.

I had LG Rumor 2 and it was great... very nice phone too.

bad service with Razr on rogers
my dad had 4 different samsung phones over last few years, they are all bad. he keeps getting them because he gets them for free and almsot never uses them so its ok but not good for like anyone else.

My friend has iphone on Rogers and say it is really bad for dropping calls.

It's funny that people are citing their Razr as a good example. My Razr was hands down the worst phone for call quality I've ever had - from about 3 weeks into the contract I got that 'talking in a submarine' vibe from it, which never really stopped. Shame - I loved that phone!
