There's so many different ways to communicate with people (excluding phone-wise) today that speaking on the phone has become somewhat old. Communication is heading toward texting/emailing now.

I'm somewhat old and my clients are mostly unwired so the phone still rules my world in a lot of ways. Still this storm is the best communication device I've seen yet.

I expect the next generation to be able to scan for viruses and std's.

Texting & emailing is the way to go for me nowadays. If it is real important I use the phone option.

Also run MSN messenger for the UK guys as well... they never seem to sleep!

I'm a bbm'r I even got my boss to get a blackberry so i can send her messages via pin. A door separates our offices literally a door and instead of going to each others office, we bbmessage each other lol. I'm a texter. i hate talking on the phone.

i HATE texing! im 19 and it makes me feel so "middle schoolish". i hate it. if someone texts me i call them as soon as i get the messege. talking on the phone is much more efficient and quicker

I love to text. I do not feel it is "Middle Schoolesque" at all. And, I am rather long in the tooth, so yeah.

Depends on the situation.
Generally I like to know that all avenues of communication are open all the time. I usually use the one most convenient at the time.
Redundancy for backup is good
