Not crazy at all BB Love 19. Using e-mails and text allows the writer to think about what they are going to say before they say it. THAT can make all the difference in the world when saying something important. You also can put more thought into how you're saying it and that it comes across the way you want it to. I agree with you completely. I used to write my kids letters on ocassion when I knew they would totally tune me out and not listen to me if I talked to them face to face. They could read the letter and not feel somehow pressured to respond to me a certain way. It gave them time to think too. Of course, there does come a time when face to face is important. The trick is in knowing the difference.

Yeah, I agree. Besides, it's a BlackBerry. So, utilize it's full potential.

I mostly use mine for texting, e-mail, and data. Rarely use the phone side, but it is nice to have the option.

I use mine mainly for texting and calendar/tasks. I tell my friends I have unlimited texts and I'm going to use all of them. Only use the phone when absolutely necessary.

Majority of the time its BBM for me. Constantly checking emails, and then texting those poor souls not fortunate enough to rock a BB! No MMS on nTelos BB service

I really do not like talking on the phone. I like to talk to people in person. So I mostly use my CrackBerry for texting, e-mail, and MMS. I never cared for talking on the phone, even before mobile phones existed. My CrackBerry is for personal, not business use.

Personally I SMS and BB Msgr at first. Then once I get "ok" with somebody I like talking to them, just because sometimes it is easier to talk than to type. But thats just me.
