Hey guys, the description for USB Host on the native roadmap is,

"Allows the BlackBerry 10 device to act as a host and provides functionality to enumerate and connect to USB devices. Once a device is connected, the app can transfer data to the end point both synchronously and asynchronously. Note that some BlackBerry 10 devices will need to be equipped with a BlackBerry dock to act as a host."

What type of application scenarios does this service allow?

Also, what is a BlackBerry dock? Is it the dock-type thing they were trying to show us in the laptop/tablet patent layout?

    Thanks, bon jour.

It sounds like they mean dummy tablets, that require the BB10 phone to operate. Think of it very much like the bridge function is to the playbook, accept in this case the tablets would have little or no functions WITHOUT being connected to your BB10 phone.
