I see this in my options, what R they?

Any message you set to be a Level 1 message, comes in as Level 1..

PIN messages are level 1..

All Level 1 messages come up in bold red text, and have a different alert sound..

In general theyre considered more important than a regular SMS or Email.
Even though you can set either of those as Level 1 as well..
