Buy some extra BlackBerry's and wait until they all go to phone heaven. Then, Windows Phone.
Hopefully that will never have to happen.

I have two of each, Z10 and PlayBook, daily drivers and backup reserves. When they give up the ghost and IF BB is no longer available, I assume my Nokia N9/meego will also be obsolete.
Wayyy before then though I should have a Jolla w/ Sailfish OS, as I'm a big fan of the N9. My tablet will likely be a Windows OS and maybe a phone as well but not before looking into Ubuntu or Tizen first.

Well it won't be for two years, worst case scenario. I'll figure it out then, as I see Apple falling from grace by then, and who knows what will rise up in it's place.

Android could get a security overhaul.
Windows could see some vast improvements.
Ubuntu could become the next craze.
BlackBerry could polish bb10 and reclaim the throne with the mobile computing experience

...or we could all be wearing smart accessories and laughing at how outdated and useless the iPhone is

I'd probably go to Windows Phone. I tried it out for a little while and really enjoyed it. I like the integration of their whole ecosystem across different platforms.

Slowly migrating to Droid. I like how customizable it is, and all the functions and apps on my 9900 can be replicated on it. Plus I found a slider that upgrades to Jelly Bean and has a backlit keyboard I can prob get used to .... pity tho .... But still using my 9900 until ...........

I'm thinking about getting a Jolla, so if BlackBerry ceases to exist I'd switch to Jolla only at some point.
If Jolla also fails and the phones become 'useless' I'd probably get some Android with CyanogenMod or something.

Still thinking about which tablet platform to switch to. But not really in a hurry so maybe some Linux distribution or even BlackBerry can come up with something.

To iOS... that has a semblance of typing.
Nowhere near BlackBerry 10, but windows phone typing is atrocious at best and Android is just a virus.
But I'm on my way to buying my second Z30. Cracked the top right corner of my screen (using under the influence). My third BlackBerry 10 device this year.

I actually hate apple, but maybe if there is not much choice and Ubuntu not finished.. I will think about an iPhone with more than 4".. 5" would be nice...
At least they have good apps .___.

But i don't get it why they have so low specs... I don't talk about 1000 ppi displays.. more about 2GB Ram.. a much faster dual core.. and better battery

Because is not needed if your OS is well optimized for the hardware it runs on, and IOS surely is.

I'm familiar with both iOS and Android (i currently own two Android devices); however, have been curious to give Windows phone a try. Other than playing with it in the store, i really haven't been exposed to it much.

So Windows would be my choice...

You are right, but still 2GB Ram wouldn't be that bad and can still be a plus for that phone.. and a bigger battery is always a plus...

As of right now I would agree. However if BlackBerry were to ever stop making handsets in the future I would have to judge the mobile landscape at that point and make a decision.

I'd stick with BlackBerry until the devices die! I would rack up a Q or two and perhaps 1 Z30.

iOS: I don't like the new UI, however the old ones worked nicely (ofc functions missing everywhere). But way too fragile devices and expensive, and iTunes is the biggest turnoff ever. I also want NFC! (but I like iPads more then Android tablets or WP!)
Android: Tried it, but somehow I just never liked it. However programming wise I would probably go back to it, although it is now even more fragmented then it used to be which gives you headache
Widows Phone: It's smooth, but I think they made UI so important it's hard to use it. Looks aren't everything (although it apparently matters to a lot of people).

For now I don't know what I would do. Probably stay on BB10 device until it died
