Am curious to know why blackberry Traffic is not in the app world of blackberry10.

Traffic is kind of built into Maps. They have traffic info on BlackBerry maps and it gives you routes based on traffic. Personally I liked BlackBerry Traffic as well. Very simplistic.

When you start navigation you have to go to Plan Route in the more menu "..." then select traffic then apply to retrace the route based on traffic. You can also hit "apply settings to all future routes" at the bottom so you never have to keep doing this for each trip.

I miss the track up option I had on my old 9630 Maps in the over head view like here

Track up means the map would point up in the direction you were driving. Currently it points due north.

Thanks Eddy, I've been using Waze but I preferred BlackBerry Traffic. Maybe I'll try Maps.

Eh? I thought track up was the default setting. I love the way it shows the road curving in front of me, or the right/left turns coming up. No need for me to tilt my head or anything. I didn't know you could get the top to always point north... I hated that on the wifes iPhone; makes me think harder trying to orient my mind to the direction I'm going and having to stare longer than just a glance. Man, theres always something to learn here.

Read this thread to understand why people want traffic back.. maps isn't traffic. Maps HAS traffic DATA. But maps pales in comparison when it comes to what traffic did best.
