What Kris said. The devices are pretty different, especially since you didn't state which device you really mean by stating "Samsung".
The Q10 is the most powerful and interesting QWERTY phone out there at the moment and it looks like it won't be challenged soon for this position. So if somebody wants an up-to-date phone with a QWERTY keyboard, the Q10 is one of the top candidates to look for, with the Q5 being virtually the only one besides it.

I liked the screen of the z10 but I got a bad one that had a battery that would last 4 hours with minimum usage, less if used more. I also for the life of me couldn't get used to typing on glass. Bit the bullet and bought a Q10 and couldn't be happier. Initially I was ticked the "Alt" button would get pressed everytime I pulled it out of my pocket and I'd start typing numbers and symbols instead of letters but I just bought an otterbox commuter and that has taken care of the problem.
My only issue now is a general one, applications. The utilities like call blockers just are not there, hopefully they will pop up soon.

I personally like my Q10 better than any android or iPhone I've owned. but that's preference.

I love my Zed. Once you get used to the peek and flow and the multitasking, it would be hard pressed to go back.

I had the Z10 and currently have the Q10. I prefer the physical keyboard that's why I kept the Q10. As far as the BB10 devices go they are great devices compared to other platforms. Of course there is the lack of apps but that really doesn't matter to me.
