Beta software is software that is in the second round of testing.
It is released only for the purpose of testing and identifying bugs.

Official software is software that is considered by the vendor
to be of sufficient reliability to be publicly released.

It is highly unlikely that you will see any improvement or material
difference between one incremental upgrade and another.

The simple rule is this: If your phone functions properly, leave the
OS alone. Or as they say, If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I should point out though that is always best to have your carriers
release for tech support reasons and to maintain your warranty.

But AG, if the government mandates our OSs like they plan to run everything soon, the new policy is; If it ain't broke, fix it til it is!
