B-7000 seems to be the most popular glue to attach screen to phone case now that the newer phones like Key2 LE don't use screws. But getting a tube of B-7000 is not a quick thing, you have to order and wait for it or call around cell phone repair shops to ask if they will sell you that.

So what product sold in the local stores will work? Its for my personal phone so I don't mind if it doesnt work perfectly.
I read that B-7000 is a single component epoxy, similar in function to those solvent based adhesives (once the solvent has evaporated from the polymer, the adhesive has cured)

What phone do you have? Is it an LE?
But to answer your question, glue is not the way to go... double sided tape is easier and stronger.

Silicone sealant works - I used clear Silicone sealant around the edge of the screen on my Key1 when the screen fell off and it's still secure. The benefit of the silicone sealant is that it isn't that permanent, and can be peeled away easily in the future.

    Carpet or mounting tape works.
Easiest removal using a hair dryer for repair (if you damage the touch panel and/or LCD).
