If you are signing up for Office 365 for personalized Exhange which is an excellent service, you will be given "OneDrive for Business" with 1TB of storage which is Sharepoint rebranded. To synch to OneDrive for Business you will need to use "BlackBerry Work Drives" which will only work with Balance and BES. The OneDrive app that is in BBWorld will only synch the consumer oriented OneDrive. The OneDrive Android App made by Microsoft will give you access to your "OneDrive for Business" files, but it will not work on the square screen of QWERTY phones. I hear 10.3.1 will fix the square screen issue, but you still will not be able to get "Ondrive for Business" in your BB10 file manager.

OneDrive syncs files across all my devices and is very fast. I have 30 GB free, and will have 1 TB once I sign up for MS Exchange for email hosting. My second choice is Dropbox for speed and convenience, but I only have 2.75 GB there, so not nearly enough. Box is painfully slow and has a single file limit of only 250 MB, so useless for videos and graphics heavy PowerPoints. I've pretty much moved out of Box altogether.

I use OneDrive, Box and DropBox. I wanted to just use OneDrive but it does not work like the other two. I use DropBox becasue it is the most ubiquitous. I use Box because I have a bunch of free storage.

Here is the problem with OneDrive: You cannot access shared folders from BB10. This is the way Microsoft seems to have designed the system. I have folder full of Jazz music for my wife in OneDrive. I shared that folder with her, that shared folder does not show in BB10 at all. You cannot access Shared Folders from the OneDrive Web App either but you can if you switch to Desktop mode but then it is very hard to use without a mouse and keyboard. So I tried the Android App on my spare Z30 (OneDrive for Android will not render fully on a square screen) and I can access the Shared Folders but I cannot download folders, just files. For files that are not shared I can download entire folders, but not shared. I admit I am a Microsoft guy, but this was beyond frustrating and left me disheartened.

Solution for me was to move all that Jazz to my ample Box cloud and share it with my wife. She added her Box account and now has full access to the shared folder - no runaround, it just works. Even the Box web app works as advertised unlike the MS OneDrive.

Another question: have any of you been issued a cloud service by your employer? I am preparing to enter the professional world and I wonder if it is worth investing in a service now or holding off to see what my professional career brings in terms of important files.

What cloud service do you use?-img_20141006_164447.png

I paid $50 for four years of Office 365 with university pricing through Craigslist.
Included in that is 60 monthly international minute for Skype and 1000gb of OneDrive storage.

    I love Microsoft

Anyone found a better storage for $50?

One Drive - nicely integrated with the file manager (as Box and DropBox).
Supported by Enpass for sync/backup (as DropBox).

but I had some issue with DropBox - couldn't get the files sync'ed to my device - so it's OneDrive though I miss for Linux (as I'm moving away from my Windows XP).

    Mega.

No limitations on file size uploads. Let me exceed the free 50GBs to 70GB+ and it's still free.

Their customer service is as good as any other.

Used the service for free now for about a year, and now I'm considering upgrading the account.

Chrome extention is a must and BB10 app is nice. Possible to stream video and audio from android app. I think it's called Mega stream or something.

I use Google Drive, which is unsupported by BB10 sadly. It integrates very nicely with Gmail and I get 15GB of free storage, which is not a ton but I'm not complaining for free storage.

That is a great deal, it is nice to see that the space you got is the regular OneDrive instead of the Enterprise SharePoint version. What Office 365 plan is that?

I am not sure what the difference is but the one I bought is the Office 365 University, it is only available for university students and staffs.

Mike, I think if you sign up for personal email hosting, you get the 1 TB in the personal One Drive. I was looking at the options they offer, and you need one of the higher level business plans to get SharePoint. But thanks for the heads up about shared folders. Good thing my Windows tablet is always with me.
