I am interested in buying a Blackberry. I don't know what one would be best for me. I am a High School student and I am planning on using it for school and keeping up with friends. Here are my options for Blackberry's to choose from: BlackBerry Curve 9350, BlackBerry Bold 9930, BlackBerry Torch 9850, BlackBerry Style 9670, BlackBerry Storm2 9550, BlackBerry Bold 9650, or the BlackBerry Curve3 9330. I personally like the Bold 9930 but i'm not really sure if it would be the right one for me.

If you want/like a Keyboard then 9900 is the only way to go. If you prefer the touch experience and the largest BlackBerry screen ever then go 9860 (I did and enjoy it a lot)

Thanks! Im really thinking about the Bold. I like that it has touch and everything....The only problem is that its really expensive! $400 on a 2-year contract.

if it's expensive for you then you may consider to get another cheaper different model.
if you can get it, then you should get it. if money plays an role.
it's your pick, if you know the pro's and con's from the phones, you are pretty good to go.
when you know what your needs are then it's all fairly easypeasy.

Keeping-up with friends means a lot of texting...definitely Bold 9930 territory!!!

If you do some texting but also want great media features...definitely Torch territory

If price is an issue, then the curve 9350 is your best bet.

Exactly what Rosebud said. The Curve 9350 is a good BB for the price and the hardware has been bumped up from previous ones for a better experience. I would recommend the 99XX over all though, but thats if you want to pay a premium for a top notch device.

I was going to make a recommendation but it seems my CrackBerry fellows have already beaten me to the punch.

The 99xx is pretty cheap in Canada because of our 3 year plans, but definitely it would be the choice of the bunch in terms of messaging, if that is what you're looking for. The 9850 would be a better media machine.

    Cheers!

Any of the blackberrys will serve your needs. It comes down to what you want. I'm going to suggest the 9930 or the 9850. Go ahead and put the money out. You'll be glad you did.

at the end of the day it all comes down to you.

go into your store and test them all out.
also keep your wallet in mind. you don't want to overspend on a phone

i decided to go with the 9790 just because i liked the form factor of the 9700
