i got a Torch
that is cool that you have a torch ! I would love to have a torch myself when Verizon comes up with one.
I would rather have a Curve than a Torch. I've had the Torch for 7 days and I returned it after not being able to get used to the keyboard......once you touch a Bold's keyboard again, you realise how much better it is.
@ matrix leader - for some reason youre not the only one ive heard voicing that sentiment about going back from torch to curve or bold . ive seem the torch key board and yes i t doesnt impress me either i have to admit .

The first few days I got my Torch I was very happy with it and loved the big screen so much. I thought I would get used to the keyboard with time....I kept trying and trying....it was getting better.....I always used to press 2 keys together even though I have small fingers.....then when I played with my friend's Bold for a minute i felt how much better those well defined bulged out keys are, and its even better with the Curve since they are insolated from on another and not stuck.
Not to mention the horrible battery life compared to a Bold even with the latest OS which was 337 at that time.....imagine this....RIM introduced a new device that costs an arm and a leg ($700 USD retail price here in dubai for people with no contracts), yet, a smaller capacity batter, 1145 mAH compared to the Bold's 1500 mAH battery. The Bold costs less, and is a better device hands down.
I finally returned my Torch on the 7th day (last day of exchange policy) and THANK god I did....I got a 9700 as the 9780 wasn't out yet....
used my 9700 for 3 weeks then got the 9780 on day one when it was released in Dubai and sold the 9700 later for $400 as it was fully boxed in mint condition + 1 year warranty.
I couldn't be happier with the 9780, its an excellent device with an amazing camera, very very very fast performance with the latest leak, and 512 mb of memory so you can install all the apps you want and still have like 275 mb free :D
@ matrix leader - i know you preffer the big keys and that is wonderful but for some reason i still would love to experience the torch . the 9700 is awesome but like you said the 9700 keys are small compared to the other berry you got ! you sound happy and you should with the 512 memory that you have now ! congratulations

Just switched over to Blackberry from Android and purchased the 9630/Tour from Sprint.....so far I really am loving it! I never thought I would like a blackberry phone but I was wrong :)
what about the other phones such as the 9700, 9300, etc? The tour is almost (if not older) than my Bold 9000
I have a Curve 8330 but will upgrade come April. I'm on the fence between the Style and the Samsung EVO with slide out keyboard. May have to flip a coin when it's time to renew my contract.
