I voted Torch....because I am currently using my Torch....wish I had a 9780....should of never gave my daughter my 9700 (I miss it terribly!!!!!)....AND I am so desperately afraid that someday I would have to go without a BB so I have my very first (Pearl 8120) stored away nice and neatly with all her accessories! :-D

I would go with the torch. The iPhone 4 (i hear) is easily breakable and then thats another $700 to get a new one. The Torch on the other hand is not as tanked as the 9000 but its still good. The only things the iPhone has on Blackberrys is retina display and the full screen, thats it. Everything else is better on Blackberry. I'd say go with the Torch

Absolutely in love with my torch. Previously had a pearl(81somehting), and a curve(8310). Never cared for the bold, it was well... just to bold

how's the keyboard on the torch ? compare to 9700 .

The keys are just about the same. But the Torch takes some getting used to after coming from a 9700. The actual keyboard itself is thinner so it feel weird. But I bbm and text email CB.com daily so didn't take me long at all. I still miss my Bold and hope that I can somehow get into the 9780 yet without having to sell or give up my Torch. Just incase I don't like the switch as much as I am anticipating!

I just got the Curve 9300 (3G)

a lil different from my curve 8310 due to the updates and all but i'm falling in love all over again

my first BB was a Pearl 8100...

It's kind of frustrating though because a lot of the apps aren't compatible w/my device

He is a youngin, as Pk has pointed out, your comment will most like go over head. those that read it and thank probably would have done so anyway.

just as the thread it self has not received 5 stars when it was asked in a previous post to rate the thread, the thank/post count of the poster wont sky rocket over a single post, he's having some fun in the thread, we take some playful jabs, and leave the fun to be had for a little while longer.
also bumping the thread to keep from seeing more bumps.
