    Hello everyone.

My wife and I are on AT&T in the US with a Z10 and Q10. Our last trip to Canada in July put about $800 in the pocket of AT&T - so I want to unlock the phones and get a temporary sim card / plan for each phone while we are there. So looking for recommendations and any pitfalls I need to be aware of.

    Thanks

I like TELUS... just need to go to one of their stores to buy a SIM card for $10. Activate it online yourself.

Some dealers may charge you a "service fee" if you want them to activate it for you so you can just have a working SIM out of the door. I am saying MAY because dealers do not make any money on pre-paid.

But if you go to most major malls, they are corporate own TELUS stores. Again, they may or may not activate it for you. But if they do, they most likely will not be charging you for it.

You can check out their plans here: http://www.telus.com/en/on/mobility/prepaid/plans/
