Sprint consumer BIS. I honestly didn't know you could have a consumer BES.

Technically a "work BES", I'm running a BPS that I built and manage in my own domain. It connects to my BB as well as the wife's.
You got your own BES? Is that the BESX linked with a local exchange server? How much did it cost you?

Is it just me, but when someone starts a poll, then people answer the question in the poll then follow it up witha post is that just a waste unless they actually have something to add.

It is a BPS linked to a Domino server (that I also built and manage). The BPS software is free with one license. I paid somewhere around $90 for the 2nd license (for the wife's BB).

    Blackberry Professional server
BlackBerry Professional Software for IBM Lotus Domino - Manuals and Guides

It was "sort of " replaced by BESx, although BESx is Exchanged only. The other problem is that it hasn't (and won't) be upgraded, so BPS users are stuck on 4.1.

As for what I do, I'm an independent Lotus Notes/Domino (and BlackBerry) consultant.

Well, I didn't know this was a poll because I'm reading this on my BB which displays the mobile wap site - and polls don't show up in wap site.

    BTW, using BIS here.

So far, a lot of BIS users. As for my experience go, I really enjoyed discovering blackberry with BIS but having the full BES experience is then sooo much orgasmic! OTA sync of everything! Of course the extra cost is 10 for the BES plan and about 15 for the hosted BES, a total of +25euros which is a lot, actually.
