    Hey guys, ive got this symbol in the top right of my screen you can see which kinda of looks like a target with little sound waves emitting from it.. ive tried battery pulls etc and closing every app.. cant seem to find the source of it, any help appreciated, thanks!

    Could it be the Bluetooth on symbol for the theme you have installed? Possibly WiFi too?

    Yes it's the GPS. When it's not active it looks like cross hairs on a sight. When it is active it looks like the cross hairs with a funnel attached. .

    Yeah, it's the GPS symbol. What's "weird" about it? It looks normal to me.

    I don't think he wants to be broadcasting his GPS signal at all times.

    Might I suggest turning off GPS apps that till do this? Google Latitude, Poynt, 4sq?

    Nope.

    All the user needs to do is to go to Options > Advanced Options > GPS and for "Location Services" select "E911 Only".

    Just be aware that the services that require GPS (such as the ones listed above) will need the Location Services to be On in order to work.
