Every once in awhile I'll get a notification of (1 Unread) message, but no message link under that, an no message anywhere email, sms, chat, etc. and no icon above to tell me where the message is.
All I can think of is that it is a delayed reaction to chat as it seems to happen when I'm on JiveTalk.
Anyone else have this issue?

Could be from an app you have installed. Have you checked all your messages folder (from messages, press menu, view folders)?
I have had this happen, and found a "missed call" that I had seen in he call log, but had not opened it in the "message" folder.
Yes... Missed calls show as unread messages.
Yeah, I had seen that before, but wasn't it this time. =)
Not JiveTalk, not BB Messenger, not email, not missed call.
The mystery goes on. :)

I re-installed the OS. :D
Are you running SPAM software? I noticed this happening a few times after I installed Antair BlackBerry Spam Filter. I would look in the blocked mails area & sure enough there were new blocked messages. Hope this helps.......
