I currently have a storm 2 (had it since april of 2010), i now want something that runs OS 7 and could also run BB10 when it comes out (if this is possible, if not, then disregard). Problem is i also don't want to spend too much on it, maybe 350 at most, so any suggestions? I also have a playbook, so i want a BB for sure. Thanks!

edit: I also need it to be unlocked, since i wont be signing up to any plan ( i do the unlimited Email and IM from Fido )

Torch touch, you won't regret it.
Dunno if the thing will support BB10 but it's a hot phone any way. See what the price listing on your carrier or go to the forum market place to get a good bargain.
Note : going to the forum market place at your own risk

I really like my Torch9810. I have the 9900 as well, but the Torch definitely has a better screen for watching stuff--coming from a Storm, I think you'll really appreciate it. None of the current BlackBerrys will be able to run BB10, but are huge improvements over the Storm, definitely worth the extra money. The web browsing on the Torch is right up there with iPhones.. I have the newest iPod touch and I prefer browsing on my Torch.

I think the Torch 9810 would be a good option, coming from a Storm. I own a 9900 but wished I got the 9810 instead.

Keyboards are, IMHO, a thing of the past as all the top tier phones are full touch screen devices. But for those who are still attached to keyboards, the 9810 has a slide out one.

Isn't there only two phones on verizon with OS7?
    Torch 9850 and Bold 9930

You can get the torch 9850 for 300-400 on ebay. I don't know you're area to check craigslist. Amazon is usually a little more expensive.

Oh yeah. If you need a verizon device, only the 9850, Curve 9370, and Bold 9930 have OS7. I know people have unlocked Verizon phones and used a Tmobile or att sim card here in the state, but if you're using Fido, I think they have the same frequencies as Tmobile, so if you got an unlocked Torch 9810 for tmobile on ebay or something, it would run 4G or HSPA+ or whatever it's called where you live. Otherwise, if you use a Verizon phone, the best you'd get is the EDGE network.

If you do not need a physical keyboard the BlackBerry Torch 9850/9860 is very nice. No BlackBerry smartphone running BBOS 7.0 can run whatever the next generation of operating system for the Blackberry smartphone will be based upon and Research In Motion has already stated this as fact.

If you have a friend or relative working for Research In Motion you could ask them to buy you an unlocked smartphone for a discounted price. Though I hear the selection is limited to a few models.

9790? Or you can go with a curve for a lower price.

Then honestly I would save a little longer....and then buy a 9900. I've seen them going on Ebay in the $400 range.

Torch 9810 has the keyboard, big screen, slide out keyboard and runs OS7.
BB 9900 is pretty much the same but has a smaller screen.

Torch 9850 isn't for me as if I wanted a fully touch phone I'd probably buy a iPhone. Atleast with the Torch 9810 you have the full touch screen option but a keyboard as well.

They're both fine devices. In the end, 2 things drove me to the 9810:
    autofocus camera
    $150 cheaper
