I haven't had an anti virus or firewall program on my PC since 1998. Waste of money IMO, unless you've got newbies or kids on your PC. Unless there were some way a virus could upload itself into my PC, its not happening. I'm locked down.

You must be extremely lucky. Viruses can be embedded in email and web sites. All you have to do to infect your system is open one of those. You dont have to be a newbie or a kid to get your system infected. You just have had a charmed life.
