There isn't a Flash player plug-in. Complain to Adobe, lots.

Thats odd. Ican watch youtube videos. Try this. Go to browser then hit menu key select options. In browser configuration make sure everything has a check in the box. "show images" is set to on WML & HTML pages. Emulation mode set to blackberry. Hit the back key and save. Then go to youtube and it should say that mobile youtube is data intensive or something like that. Hit continue.

Then I must be wrong. Or perhaps YouTube isn't Flash?
I guess I'll have to try this again.
    Sorry for the incorrect info.

Yes good question. SSjohns go to options/about third line down...what app version are you running?

Ok, so I went into the browser options and checked everything and saved. Here's where I get stuck. I can get on youtube. I can see everything, but when I click to actually watch the video I get the screen that looks like windows media player, but then the video won't actually play.

I know some people have problems with some videos playing. Alot of them say that its a 50/50 if the video will play. Check what version OS your running for us. Options/about.

OK, I followed your instructions and for YouTube it works. [Pearl 8130 OS v4.5.0.77]
Thank you very much for that!
I tried Hulu as well, and that does not seem to work.
I'm really not sure what the difference is, as I thought they were both Flash.

Thanks. It's good to know that at least I'm not alone, but it begs the question, why? I checked and Hulu appears to be Flash as well; unless it requires a higher Flash version which is unsupported on the BB, this doesn't seem to make sense.

Not a big deal though, it's not like I'm really going to watch full length videos on a Pearl, but it is a question begging for an answer. Curiosity can be a b!t(h.

It's my understanding that BB's don't support flash. But as you stated maybe it requires a high flash version?

Im no pro but I think that youtube needs flash 7.0 and higher.
    Hulu requires flash 9.0

Youtube is flash but a lower version. 7.0 youtube and 9.0 for hulu.

Sorry just saw your post. I would think that sometime soon in a newer OS version that it will be supported.
