Does the release and then unreleased mean we are out of luck? Or will we for sure still get the update?

Probably a minor snafu, I do believe they will eventually release it again.
I hope so. My emotions can't take this. Lol

Either that or just monitoring how much stress is put on the servers trying to guage how much stress would be if it were all out release.
I heard they released the update 4 days early that's why they stopped letting people update there phones

It was probably a fluke, but it was released for a short period of time yesterday. When I checked for updates on my phone yesterday, I was informed that there was a new O/S and without hesitation, I downloaded it. Shortly after it was installed on my phone, it was pulled
Shouldn't be much stress on their system since they tell everybody blackberry is a waste of money. I mean I didn't listen but I'm sure a lot did.

Too many a surprise, but 3 Verizon stores within my area have been very good in terms of supporting BB. Each time I came in looking at the BB phones, not once was I asked "Why Blackberry" or steered towards andriod or ios. They all sang praises of the Z30 and all of them had functional units in store of all the Black Berries, which is more then I can say for some other carriers. Maybe this does not hold water in all areas, but in my area it does.
When I brought my Z10 in to have activated last month, as I purchased it from a third party, I was told by several sales associates that I had gotten a great deal, and they were pretty impressed with the phone once it was activated, and they messed around with it a little
That's good. Around here they asked me why and then tried to sell me an s4 or iPhone 5. I hope this means they are turning around

Verizon's BB OS releases (at least as far as I can remember, back to the 9630) have typically been done the same way. They release, pull it, then release it again a few days later.
There have probably been some exceptions, but I can remember more times than not reading about an OS update available on CB, checking on m device that it was available, and by the time I would get it backed up it would have been pulled.
It's odd that .537 was released and not a newer version like .1925 or higher. Makes me wonder if they do re-release it, the version may be .1925 or higher.

537 is the software release of the OS version 1925. It's the same OS as the leak.

The one in Murfreesboro seems to be that way too.
BB Uniq BB Bold -Z10 with 1925
That is always good to hear! Nice to know some Verizon locations are supporting the devices
I have my update... some things are nice, not mind blowing. mostly my BlackBerry turned into a android device... so not sold on the update. the priority hub is the best feature

Explore a little more. Some things take some digging. Example is the pinch to zoom that allows you to filter just unread emails/text/notifications anywhere in the hub. Pretty cool feature.
IMO the 10.2.1 release has the biggest impact on the Q10. For the Z10 and Z30 there are some nice updates but the Q10 gets a lot of it's legacy features back which is much to be excited about.

Nope, giving back delete on handheld only is :)
Hey buddy, how come u have a dark theme on this page? Is that a new thing in this version of the OS?
That's how it is on my Z30. I'm actually not sure if it's the same for the Z10 now or the Q10 to be honest.

Maybe an option in the official but 10.2.1 for sure, but I can tell you in my Z30 with the stock OS 10.2.0.xxxx I can change individual screens from light to dark theme. Like I can make my HUB, texts, emails, etc. the light theme while setting my contacts to the dark theme. Thus I'd assume if I can do this on my stock Z30 with 10.2.0.xxxx than you should have the ability on 10.2.1

My experience was similar to DJM626's when I went to a local Verizon corporate store to get the Z30. Although I ultimately needed to buy it via their web site (no local stores had it in stock), they did have a Z30 demo unit on display and store personnel were extremely helpful. No one tried to steer me to another phone or dissuade me in any way (unlike my BB experiences at AT&T).
I've had 2 bad experiences with trying to buy a Q10 at verizon stores... 3rd time I went to get my dad a Z30 and actually had a knowledgeable salesperson.
1 for 3 :/
