I force my friends to use BBM. If the don't send me stuff through BBM I don't answer. Simple. Most have add it and don't complain any more. I stopped using snap chat As soon as Facebook bought it. And now that instagram added a snap chat feature. I don't miss it.

My opinion is that it's an interesting workaround but remains to be seen if it will keep WhatsApp active on BB10 devices. We'll just have to wait until 2017 to see if it's legit.
