I remember getting this to work on my 9000 before, I wish I remembered how to do it. I have a 9700 again and was wondering even if I had to sacrifice push, if there was a way to get mail on my 9700 w/o a data plan.

Doesn't Rogers have like an email/IM plan? The only way i can see this working is connecting to wifi, logging into your email account through the broswer, and checking it that way. Your not going to get email delivered to your phone without having a Blackberry Data Plan, that's how it's supposed to work.
