I recently bought a Blackberry Bold and am still trying to get used to how it works. Today I went abroad and want to avoid my emails being automatically downloaded onto the device so I don't get hit with massive charges. However, I do want to be able to use the browser as I can access my yahoo account on that, and decide which messages I think are worth opening.

Also, is it possible to block pictures on the browser?

Any help much appreciated.
