What is the easiest way to tether my bold to my laptop? I am a small business owner, and I often do work late at night in my truck, with no access to WiFi.
I remember a long time ago seeing a thread on it, but I recall it being slightly complicated/using commant prompt. Are there any Apps out there that can do this for me? Thx

Yes he hit it. Tetherberry is amazing! I have found that it is faster than using the isp's tethering. It is a bit pricey but every penny is well worth it. They don't charge fees for connecting and if you're like me you will use it everyday.

    um... no.

According to you he should pay $50 for a program he doesn't need?
He's on Rogers, tethering is free, it is the same with all Canadian operators.

If you're using a windows computer, you can use desktop manager.
If you're using a mac, bluetooth > add a device, and then it will detect that it's a modem. (I think you can do the same with windows)

I tether with TELUS all the time, tethering is included.
