I already run the excellent Tunepal app mentioned on page 1 of this thread - on an Android flashed HP Touchpad tablet.
My Blackberry Q10 with the new "Android friendly" 10.2.1 OS and Snap installed finds Tunepal in Google Playstore , attempts to download it but then comes up with an install fail message :-(

I've become so dependent on this app for learning new tunes that I don't think I'd be willing to return to BlackBerry if it meant giving it up.

Everyone saying that BlackBerry didn't do any marketing in the US is wrong. I have CNBC on all day everyday. When the Q10 was released there were commercials for it all the time obviously targeting business professionals. The bottom line is that the marketing didn't work. BlackBerry has an image problem, not a hardware or OS problem. The phones are just not "cool" anymore in the states.

I'm on AT&T and still waiting for the update for my Z10. The phone still rocks with or without it so I can wait. However when my contract is up in 1 year I will probably move to another OS. Just because of the lack of support and apps. Not to mention I doubt I will ever be able to buy a Z30 or whatever BlackBerry's flagship phone will be a year from now if I'm with AT&T.

I suspect that the Q10 and the Z10 are the two last BlackBerry phones ever sold by AT&T.

As far as I know, none of the carriers here in the USA have pushed out the 10.2.1.1 update.

I have a Canadian unlocked z30 100-5 model and I did get the OTA 10.2.1.537 update, that's only because it's a Canadian model that's unlocked so it receives the latest OTA updates.

I might be mistaken but from my findings every other carrier in every other country in the world has released 10.2.1.537 and some have even moved on to 10.2.1.2141.

This is really sad because it shows how the US carriers are really not bothered with BlackBerry and have no problems killing whatever that is left of its market.

Ms onedrive, sharepoint integration and the updated docs to go is 10.2.1 compatible only. This is only 1 example of the many important things 10.2.1 is bringing to us BlackBerry users.

If you cant update, you cant get full functionality and you end up frustrated and switch devices.

This is how american carriers will kill blackberry.

Now that T mobile has released 10.2 is there anyway to switch my AT&T phone over to them? Or I would have to buy a new phone from them?

I would think if you unlock the device, you can use it in T Mobiles network. I had an unlocked AT&T z10 and it worked on T Mobile KTE like a charm.
