I have been a user of the blackberry 8310 for around two years now and I love it, but now I want to upgrade to a more diverse and newer version of the blackberry such as the storm or bold. I have an upgrade available on September 28th and wanted to get some opinions on the newer but not so expensive versions of the blackberry. Any suggestions would definitely help!

The Storm is an awesome phone but finding one unlocked with a lower price tag is going to be difficult... I would go with bold or 8900. hope this helps

I would actually wait. There has been talk of ATT getting the 9700 in November. When that drops then the Bold should drop as well. This means you get a GREAT phone at a lowered price.

Whichever upgrade you go to I'd strongly suggest you try each phone out before deciding. The Storm is very different from the 8900 and also different from the Bold.

You can always purchase the phone and try it out for a week and return it if it doesn't fit your liking.

i agree with this. the Bold was too big and the 3G was a battery hog. i ended up going with an 8900 and i love it. i would recommend it as well.

This is a great suggestion. The 8900 is a great BB, especially for the money. It will make your 8310 feel like a toy. The Bold is great, but a bit pricey.

I have toyed with one of my friends BB bolds and its not bad, but it is definitely pricey. I am going to do some research on the 8900, is there anything in particular that I should know about it that as a BB user would make me want to buy it now? or is it just a more modified version of my 8310?

Everyone seems to like the 8900 and if you were to put the OS for 5.0 on there (with the newest version ending in .232, you can use both Tour and 8900 themes on it)...I also never hear ppl complain about the 8900.
